Born in Piacenza, Italy, and European as a choice, Luca is a designer that does not like to talk about himself in third person.

With my work I aim at bridging the gap between emerging technologies and human experience, utilizing the lens of creativity and speculative thinking.

Every single day, I try to put myself in such situations where I am challenged to do something I do not really know how to do. At times, it’s enjoyable.

Currently, I am based in Milan, Italy, where I work as a senior creative at MAIZE/H-Farm Innovation, that is strategic design consulting firm where we play around with technology and humans. Here I support brands crafting immersive experiences ranging from temporary exhibitions to retail concepts.

Prior to that, I spent several years at Carlo Ratti Associati, a design and innovation office established in Turin.

During the weekends I strive to escape to the mountains for skiing, hiking, and climbing.

During my student-life, I proactively wanted to diversify my academic experience, setting the ground for what I proudly can call a cross-nation and multi-disciplinary background and attitude_

In fall 2017 I graduated from a Masters in Architectural Design at Interactive Architecture Lab, Bartlett School of Architecture, UK. And how 'bout my undergrad? Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design at Eindhoven University of Technology, NL. In between these main experiences, I made up some time to obtain the Fab Academy diploma at Fab Lab Toscana, Siena. Lastly, I also willingly decided to spend a freezing winter at Carnegie Mellon School of Design, US, for an exchange.
